All the world's a stage
And all the men and women are merely players
They have their exits and entrances
And one man in his time plays many parts

LOVE SONG FOR A SAVIOUR
He's more than the laughter
Or the stars in the heavens
As close as a heartbeat
or a song on her lips
Someday she'll trust Him
Learn how to see Him
Someday He'll call her
And she will come running
Fall in His arms
The tears will fall down and she'll pray
I want to fall in love with you
hello world! ive been getting comments that my blog's been stagnant. its a reflection of how happening my life is right now. ive been consumed in a world of dead communication historians, and sixteenth century music a la JS Bach. Blast from the past. Not forgetting the remaining four, no wait, three( percussion's over!) other papers i have as well. Rather worried about 207 cuz it requires alot of time, which i dont have. Music analysis portfolio's due this friday and its !@^QQ^(*&$^#*&%^*#&%^*^$(*@&^#$@ ^!@$*^*&^*&^&!#@&$%!*@^$!@#$)(*(&*%^%!@#^%&*$^%#@&^%$&*#%$&@#%$. There, i feel slightly better.
On a seperate note, it's so easy to give in to the urge to hang on to familiarity instead of facing the unknown on your own. it's times like this that in your head, you sugarcoat the good times and downplay the bad ones. But that was then, and now is now. Once bitten twice shy. How cliched.
Speaking of cliches, i used to think the line "it's not you, it's me" was the lamest, most convenient break up line ever. That people who use it are actually thinking to themselves "it's not me, it's you" . But the former contains a kind of, partial truth. its not you, but its not me either. its more like the combination of you and me that didnt work out, and we're all essentially great individuals in our own right.
the rain's getting me all emo. Oh, and maybe because i keep listening to Not me not I by Delta Goodrem. haha. Not something id usually listen to, but its been on repeat in my itunes. When im at home(and no one's around) ill belt it out at the top of my lungs, banging away on the piano- making love to the piano as brent would say.haha. i ve always been about guitars, but lately ive been getting into piano as well:) love jazz piano. i prefer the live version to the recorded one for this song. Take a look if you've the time:)
